Sunrise Solar is proud to present Wings Landing Solar Farm. Wings Landing Farm grows large quantities of produce annually that is sold both locally and through out the eastern sea board. As a side item Wings Landing Farm grows chickens, corn, beans, and wheat. Wayne and Sharon Quidas are third generation farmers and are leaving a legacy for the future generations of farmers at Wings Landing Farm. This 252 KW ground mounted solar array is in Preston, MD. The solar farm produces power for a packing facility, chicken houses, irrigation pumps, and their personal homes. Aggregate metering makes this possible in the state of Maryland by combining multiple meters on one solar system. Sunrise Solar is able to lower installation costs for people in the Ag sector by lowering the amount of systems that need installed. Sunrise Solar applied for and won the USDA REAP Grant for Wings Landing Farm.
